ABOUT Jerry Lawrence III
I am a writer and filmmaker. I've been writing stories all my life. The first big story I wrote was J. I was in high school when I started writing it and finished it my first year of college. When I came to the University of Alabama I began writing and directing short films. I learned many things from making each one. I also wrote a feature script called The Genesis.
I graduate from the University of Alabama Fall 2019. My major is Creative Media and my minor is History.
I'm from Fayette, Alabama. I have used the city as the backdrop in my last two films, The Only Defense and Dare to Vote Baer.
My main goal is to write and direct films for a production company.
I am currently the Creative Video Producer at WTVY in Dothan, AL.
